Crossroads, 2008. Oil on canvas, 26 x 40 inches.
Private Collection.

One of the beautiful qualities of New York is that you can always see different people and diverse personalities crossing paths. As with most of my paintings from photo references there are changes and adjustments made. In this painting I rearranged the central figures on the left side of the painting because I wanted them to cross paths at the same time which they did not do in the photograph. I also expanded the shade in the right section of the sidewalk. When I took my photographs, on which this painting is based, at first I didn't even notice the poster of Dali observing the action in the street.
